Axiom Vocation

A changed life may ask for a changed path.

When work, health, family or circumstance changes, returning to the same role is not always the right answer. Axiom Vocation helps explore what may fit now — and what may need to be learned, changed or rebuilt to get there.

Why vocation

The goal is not always to return to the old path.

Sometimes the work is to build a new one.

Not every recovery ends in return. Sometimes life calls for retraining, another profession, a different environment, or a new relationship with work. Axiom Vocation helps connect life change with a practical next direction.

Axiom Vocation begins with the person as they are now — not with the job they used to have.

Start with what changed

Why are you reconsidering your path?

How vocation works

01Reassess

Understand current abilities, limitations, strengths, interests, responsibilities and goals.

02Redesign

Explore suitable occupations, transferable skills, accommodations and realistic alternatives.

03Retrain

Connect with education, certification, upgrading or skills development where appropriate.

04Advocate

Support communication around accommodations, workplace needs, transition planning or relevant systems where appropriate.

05Move Forward

Support movement toward employment, placement, work experience or a new vocational direction.

Vocational support explores options and direction. It does not imply or guarantee employment, eligibility, funding or program availability.

When life changes

The path may need to change with it.

Axiom Vocation connects life change with new direction — through vocational exploration, education, retraining, accommodation, advocacy and movement toward work that fits the person now.

One life may need more than one pathway.

For one person, recovery may begin with care. Funding, benefits or advocacy may require navigation. A vocational transition may then connect health and life change with retraining, education and work.

This is one possible pathway, not a mandatory sequence. A person may begin anywhere.
